Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Valt app. By creating an account or using Valt, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Valt. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Your account

You sign in with Apple and are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Keep your device and Apple ID secure. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete my Valt account.

3. Beta software — provided “as is”

Beta disclaimer. Valt is pre-release software provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind. Features may change, break, or be removed, and data may occasionally be lost during the beta. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Valt and its operator are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create in Valt (your rankings, notes, lists, and feedback). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the service for you — for example, syncing it across your devices and, where you choose, sharing it with friends you connect with.

5. Acceptable use

When using Valt, you agree not to:

Use the app for any unlawful purpose or to violate others' rights.
Harass, abuse, threaten, or impersonate other users.
Upload content that is illegal, or that you do not have the right to share.
Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.

6. Reporting and blocking

Valt provides in-app tools to report content or users and to block other users. We review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms. Blocks you place are honored even if the blocked account is later deleted and recreated.

7. Termination

You may stop using Valt and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms or that we reasonably believe is harmful to other users or the service.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. If we make a material change, we will update this page and notify you in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
