What is Valt?

Valt is a personal entertainment-ranking app for movies, TV, books, and games. Instead of star ratings, you rank what you've finished through quick head-to-head comparisons, and Valt builds your ordered lists and taste profile from there.

How do I rank something?

Add a title you've finished and pick how you felt about it. Valt then shows you a few quick “this or that” matchups against titles you've already ranked to place it in order. The more you rank, the sharper your lists and recommendations get.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Delete my Valt account. This permanently removes your profile, rankings, notes, friends, and imported data. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what is deleted and what is retained.

What data does Valt store about me?

Only what the app needs to work — your account identity, the content you create, your friend connections, feedback, and diagnostic logs. We don't use advertising networks or data brokers, and we don't sell information that identifies you. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.

How do I report a problem with another user or with content?

Use the in-app report and block tools, available from a user's profile and from content. We review reports and take action on anything that violates our Terms of Service.

I didn't get my invite, or my invite link won't open.

Invite links are meant to be opened on the iPhone where Valt is installed — tap the link from Messages or Notes rather than pasting it into a browser. If it still doesn't work, email contact@valt-app.com.
